NCK has been working to bring you some semblance of a racing season. How does a two day event at Sonoma raceway (Sears Point) in the summer sound? Road Racing Fun in the California sun. Registration is now open for an Aug 1 and Aug 2 event at Sonoma! We will be splitting track time with the Shelby club. Format is open practice (Saturday/Sunday) then 3 races split up over two days. Willow Springs kicked off the start of the post COVID isolation racing season. People dusted off the karts, and knocked off the rust to come out and race with the NCK. Thank you for coming out, and thank you for your understanding and flexibility around race dates with the COVID epidemic.

SpeedVegas and Northern California Karters announce the first ever sanctioned event at SpeedVegas in Las Vegas, NV, Sunday, April 19th, 2020.  The super smooth 1.5 mile sportscar road course will be used in the counter clockwise direction for this groundbreaking kart racing event.  SpeedVegas COO Greg Schroeder: "We are very excited to have NCK and its participants at our facility to celebrate our first event.  This sanctioning body has great people involved in it and the history and experience of this club will provide some exciting racing action on our very smooth track. First Race event at this facility. You may have driven this track in a Super Car. Now come and RACE it in a Kart! SpeedVegas is a 1.5 mile 12 turn track with a maximum of 15 degree banking and 60 feet of elevation change. NCK is currently working additional details for discounted Rooms. By popular demand there will be a 175 shifter class added for this event.   NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO BRING YOUR OWN FUEL TO THE EVENT AS THERE IS NO TRACK FUEL AVAILABLE AT SpeedVegas.
